Two Rooms

We arrived with no reservation for dinner and we were nicely accommodated inside. The inside room I felt the light very white, could be more cosy compared with the other room. I had the bonito, my companion had the chicken, the food was very well executed without surprising factor. After dinner we asked to finish with a cocktail outside. They didn’t have space outside and we went to the bar room which was very loud to talk, eventually we asked again to to the terrace and the staff was amazing and managed to find us a table outside more comfortable for the ears and great view. Great service, we were very happy they took care of us! When in Tokyo we might come back. Thank you!!!

Absolutely loved this place! The service was incredible — friendly, attentive, and genuine. The food was amazing and beautifully presented, and the drinks were spot on. The vibe is fun, lively, and upscale. Great music, live DJ, great energy, and stunning views — definitely one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Tokyo!

During our recent trip to Japan, our family had the pleasure of dining at Two Rooms and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Nathan, our host for the evening. His professionalism, attentiveness and genuine hospitality set the tone for an outstanding dining experience. He went above and beyond to ensure we felt comfortable and well looked after throughout the evening. The food at Two Rooms was remarkable—beautifully presented, expertly prepared, and full of flavour. Every course was thoughtfully crafted, showcasing a perfect balance of creativity and quality ingredients. It was a standout meal that truly highlighted the high standard of dining Japan is renowned for. We visited with family, including our two younger children, and were incredibly impressed with how well they were accommodated. The staff were patient, considerate, and attentive, making the experience enjoyable for all of us. It’s not often that a fine-dining venue manages to deliver both world-class cuisine and a family-friendly atmosphere, but Two Rooms achieved this effortlessly. Overall, I would highly recommend Two Rooms to anyone visiting Japan. Whether you’re looking for an elevated culinary experience, exceptional service, or a memorable night out with family, this restaurant delivers on all fronts. A genuine highlight of our trip.

I met my friend for Tea here. It has a beautiful view in addition to first class service and delicious tea and treats. If you are in a group of three to four people or less, one tower of treats is plenty with tea. We made the mistake of ordering one tower for each of us when we could have easily shared. My only disappointment was not being able to take the treats we couldn't finish with us - they simply could not accommodate that request.

I’ve been coming to Tokyo for the past 15 years, and Two Rooms has always been a staple…especially that iconic balcony for a laid-back Sunday session. On my recent visit post-renovation, it was great to see the refreshed entrance and the newly expanded terrace. It’s a welcome update that’s elevated the whole vibe. The energy was spot on. I’m fairly certain they’ve upgraded the sound system too, the music was crisp, well-balanced, and never intrusive. It really added to the atmosphere without overpowering it. Food-wise, they’re still nailing it. I couldn’t go past their take on avo on toast with egg…simple, yes, but beautifully done. My friend ordered the oysters and crab balls to start and they absolutely hit the mark. Service was solid and with a fresh team in place, I can only see it getting better. It feels like the beginning of an exciting new chapter for Two Rooms. If you haven’t been in a while, it’s definitely worth a revisit.

Two Rooms, Tokyo A great restaurant with a strong design vibe and really good food and drinks. It works for pretty much everything — an aperitif, lunch or a nice dinner. A reservation is definitely worth it, as the place is usually quite busy. The view is fantastic, which makes it a must for anyone who enjoys good design, a relaxed mood and a place with real flair.
